WHO WE ARE
WHAT WE DO
HOW WE DO IT

Meet Theodosia and Ebenezer Jackson, founders of the DEEN Foundation
THE DEEN FOUNDATION
The Foundation began its operations over four decades ago. it has offered assistance to many students. Actually, Prof and Mrs. Jackson started supporting students in the 80s.
Mrs. Theodosia Jackson, as a tutor at Kumasi High School, offered to pay the fees of many students. She continued at KNUST as well, offering similar financial assistance to over 50 students at that time. Currently, the Jackson family are paying tuition fees, facility user fees, hostel fees and giving monthly stipend to some tertiary students.
Aside assistance to needy students, we extend our philanthropic service to the Prisons Service. The Foundation regularly, extends its humanitarian work to SOS and other Orphanage homes, where assorted food products, toiletries, clothing among others, are offered them as charity. The Jackson Family sponsored three children of the SOS Children’s Village in Asiakwa [in the Eastern Region] from primary school to Tertiary Education. They are all currently gainfully employed in managerial positions.
In the quest for a wider scope of assistance to many individuals, the DEEN Foundation offers a vehicle of partnership to all who share in the vision. Therefore, contrary to the initial modus operandi, the Foundation want to come out boldly and showcase the good intentions to others in order for interested partners to also join and contribute towards this worthy cause. For this reason, in collaboration with The Jackson Foundation, The DEEN Foundation was launched on April 6, 2017.
At the core of our heart, is how to deal with Streetism. We intend to handpick some of the children of six years or more who wander or sell in the streets and offer them formal education from the basic school to the tertiary level. Additionally, we intend to assist students who excel in sporting activities and offer them the necessary support.
