She observed that the interest of the Jackson family is not in the building but the transformation of lives, adding that Jesus Christ came to the world, not for anything but humanity.”After we have done all these, if we do not look at the transformation of the pupils and the teachers, then I think we will fail in achieving our aim”, Mrs Jackson pointed out.She counselled the pupils to be disciplined, show ethics and focus on their education because their success would depend on their attitude towards their studies after stakeholders have provided for them, the required educational needs.
Mrs Jackson entreated the pupils to justify the investment made in respect of the infrastructure of the school by raising the performance of the school in the next Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).On his part, Mr Osei Assibey-Antwi, the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Kumasi said the refurbishment of the school is the responsibility of the government and so for a family to embark on this exercise, deserve applause.
He said the immense contribution of the Jackson family to the development of education in the region over the years is amazing.Therefore, she expresses no surprise to hear they had taken up the refurbishment of the Amankwatia M/A School.”The Jackson family cannot be described as the richest in this city yet they have the passion and they are creating a path that all well-to-do families would have to emulate”, he stated.He said several families in the city are fabulously rich and could spend a million Ghana Cedis on birthdays; he, therefore, called on such people to emulate the Jackson family for the general good of society.Nana Adu Mensah Asare, the Amakomhene applauded the Jackson Family for their selfless contribution to education and other social development activities.He said anytime he met Prof.and Mrs Jackson at a public event then it was necessarily about a contribution the family had done for society.This, he said, is a testimony of how committed they are to the transformation of lives and the development of society.
